Outlook! In a flash!

his morning my Outlook client greeted me with the following behavior:
See that? The login screen was flashing repeatedly--appearing and disappearing in less than a second, then doing it again a few seconds later.

A system restart seems to have corrected it.

Anyone seen this before?
